THE WEEKEND =)

So it's the weekend and yes, I know it's almost over but I'm still excited about it. Friday, I had three exams throughout the day and I think I did pretty darn good on them overall (THANK GOODNESS). I also spoke with a few people in the Social Work and Psychology departments because, at this point, I'm doing everything I can just to graduate on time. So I had a few questions for them and they helped me figure out my life. Finally. After a looonnnnnggg day of contemplating life and exams, I went to colloquim to see Dr. Jacobs-Priebe give a presentation. She is my boss and professor in the Psychology department. I was actually very interested with all that she was explaining. Then, after I went back to my room, my little skister, Ashley, came up to stay with me. We just kinda sat around, did homework, laundry and things like that. Chris, my boyfriend, also came up and we all decided to rent a movie from McDonalds. So we rented Obsessed with Beyonce in it. It wasn't too bad but it wasn't the best movie in the world either. I love when my family gets along with Chris. He was helping Ashley with some of her homework on the couch and just watching them getting along like that just makes me happy. I like to think that one day, everyone will get along all the time and life will be great. =)

Yesterday, Saturday, Ashley woke up and got around and packed up to head home for the weekend. (It's Ashley's birthday weekend). So we got everything packed in the car and drove home together, which is only about a 50 minute trip. Once we got home, we just hung out around the house for a while. I took a nap (man's best invention) and then we got all prettied up to go out to dinner for her birthday. She decided that she wanted barbeque so we drove to Columbus and had Smoky Bones. After that, we ran into Target (also man's best invention) and then home. It was an overall good night, I'd have to say.

Today is Ashley's 18th birthday. Looking back, I can't even believe that we are as old as we are. I'll be 20 in November and she's 18. We're both in college. Good Lord. Where did the time go? Daddy woke up early and went to get donuts for us. YUMMY. There's a little donut shop in my hometown that rivals any donut shop I've ever had. Maybe I'm just a little biased. So now I'm just sitting around attempting to not fall asleep and maybe start some homework early so I don't have to do anything next weekend. Later, I'll be heading back to good old Bluffton. Oh, I forgot to mention it earlier. But Ashley isn't too keen on attending the school she's attending now for much longer than this year. So, she's looking at BLUFFTON =D She told me that and I almost fell over. I'd be so happy for her to enjoy Bluffton the way I do but I know not to push her so fingers crossed...
