Another week is at it's close. We are officially over the hump of midterms. I'm so thankful for this. Thank goodness it's over. This just means that scheduling for next semester is coming up reallll soon. I've been advised that I should take an overload of credits again next semester. It's been weighing on my mind a lot lately. This semester has been absolutely crazy busy. I've never been this busy at school before and it's been good and bad. I feel a lot more confident in myself and work performance. I also feel extremely tired and overwhelmed on a daily basis. So, hopefully I can decide as soon as possible before I have to meet with my academic advisor for scheduling.
As promised, I said that I'd start some lists of way cool things about Bluffton. This is purely opinion and people can have whatever views they'd like. This time I've decided, with the help of my roommate, to do the top five professors (that I've had so far).
1) Amy Youngpeter. I had her for my First Year Seminar class. She is an English adjunct professor here at Bluffton and she is AWESOME. She is super personable and really fun to get to know.
2) Dr. Lynette Jacobs-Priebe. She is a professor that I've had numerous classes with and I also work for her in the psychology department. Oh yeah, she's a psychology professor. She's very organized which makes me feel a whole heck of a lot more confident in the way the class is taught.
3) Jeff Gundy. He's another English professor. He taught my College English class my very first semester here at Bluffton. He's kind of out there and his classes are a little bit crazy. But he definitely adds his own flair to the classes.
4) Jennifer Hughes. She's a social work professor. I've only taken a few social work classes so far and I love the way she teaches it. She gives us all the information we need but she also adds some personal information that helps us to understand the material much better.
and lastly 5) Gary Schiefer. He's a professor in the EBA department and teaches my macroeconomics class. Granted, macroeconomics is not exactly the most exciting class ever taught, Prof. Schiefer really puts in the extra effort to make sure we all don't fall asleep during the class, something I find admirable.
Again, this is just my opinion and being only a sophomore, I have lots of time to experience other professors here at Bluffton. In the three semesters I've been here so far, this is what I can tell you: all of the professors are awesome. I just happen to like a few over others. This is definitely subject to change at any and all times. Also, this list isn't necessarily in any specific order. They're all pretty high up there in my opinion. Well, it's off to more homework. Oh the life of a college student. Have a great Friday night. =)
