This week has really gone by in a flash! I can't believe it's already the 7th of November. It's really crazy how fast time flies. I was speaking with one of my professors that I had my first semester here at Bluffton and we were talking about how we only have like 18 weeks of classes until I'm halfway done with undergraduate studies. I'm HALFWAY done with school already. That is so crazy to me. I feel like I'm still in middle school some days. I don't feel this old AT ALL. Anyways, what has happened in the last couple days? Well, first off, lots of classes and work. Thursday, when I woke up to go to work, I started feeling not so well. Of course, as many of you probably know, swine flu is going around like mad. I was really nervous that I might be catching something. I think I checked my temperature about every 5 minutes while I was at work. Though I didn't feel warm at all, I left work a little early to go and take a nap before I had class. The nap I took was amazing and I felt much, much better afterwards. I was feeling much better on Friday and classes went pretty well. I had a quiz and an exam in the morning and I think they both went pretty well. On Friday afternoons, professors present their research topics in a forum called colloquium. My roommate and I attended and one of my current professors presented his research on just war. It was very interesting. Afterwards, it was time to head home. I've had an especially stressful week with scheduling and advising. One thing that I absolutely love is that I'm less than an hour away from my family at all times. I live at Indian Lake, which is about 45 to 50 minutes away from campus. I left at about 6 and was able to make it home for dinner. Thankfully, there really isn't anything big this week due so I'm able to relax FINALLY. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekends. I've been told this will probably be the last really great weekend, weather-wise. Hopefully we can all go out and enjoy it... =)
