It's Finally Time...

FOR SNOWWW!!!!

This week was when Bluffton experienced it's first snow of the year. Most people I know were extremely excited. It stuck the first time it snowed even. Ever since the first snow, the weather hasn't really made up its mind on what exactly it wants to do. It's been sunny, rainy, freezing rain, snow, and just about everything between since the first snow. I love the snow but I'm VERY VERY thankful that the weather was put off til now. I can remember last year, it snowed right around Thanksgiving Break. I can handle walking to classes and work for two weeks instead of a month before Christmas Break. I've also noticed a lot of people have gotten more in the Christmas spirit, which I am very happy about. Tomorrow, Thursday, December 10th, is Christmas Dinner here on campus. My friends and I are really stinking excited for this. It's finally starting to feel like Christmas.

I turned in my last big paper/project today. Christmas Break has gotten to the point where I feel like it's finally within my reach. Seven more days of classes/ exams and I'M DONE with Fall Semester '09-'10. :) :) :) Next Friday, the 18th, is my last day of exams and then I'll finally be free to go home and actually enjoy my family and friends with no homework/projects AT ALL. When you become a college student, Christmas Break is the epitomy of happiness. For Fall and Thanksgiving Breaks, professors often give assignments to be completed while on break so that means people are writing papers and such instead of spending time with friends and family. Christmas Break, however, is nothing but relaxing and enjoying your time at home. I'm so very excited.

The weather is getting kind of nasty so if anyone is traveling, be very safe. Also, have a super great holiday season :)
